Transform your touch, transform lives
With more than ten years of experience, I've built a vibrant community of bodyworkers through events, retreats, and gatherings around the world. My approach puts the emphasis on learning by doing — something no book or video can teach you. It's about presence, flow, and intuitive touch.
I believe that by teaching others we create a ripple effect — equipping more people with the skills to heal, support, and care for those around them. The more skilled hands there are, the more people can be helped.
I am never finished learning myself and I keep actively training, grateful that I get to share what I have learned and keep making a meaningful impact through touch.
Immersive experiences
I believe in creating immersive experiences. You learn best by both giving and receiving techniques — that way you feel for yourself how the movements work. My classes are designed not only to offer relaxation, but to foster connection and knowledge-sharing between participants.
I teach at events, festivals, yoga studios, and retreats, as well as smaller classes and private treatments in my own studio in Ede — and in summer, even out in nature.
On request, I can teach individuals through mentoring, or small groups of friends, family, or couples. The possibilities are endless.
The offering: workshops, courses and private lessons
A workshop is an introduction of a few hours. A course runs across several sessions and goes deeper. Want to learn something specific? I also teach one-to-one, tailored to you.
Partner and Couples Massage
Learn to massage each other without one of you being the therapist all evening. You give and receive in turn, so you feel in your own body what your hands are doing. That is the difference between knowing techniques and being able to use them.
- Give and receive in turn
- Neck, shoulders, back and legs
- Ready to use at home that same evening
As a private lesson for two, or with several couples at once.
Book this lessonIntroduction to Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is a therapeutic style built on stretching and pressure points. On yoga mats on the floor, fully clothed, comfortable and interactive. In a few hours you learn the fundamentals hands-on.
- Relaxation techniques for stress relief
- Fully clothed, no discomfort
- Connection between participants
Works well as a standalone workshop at a festival or inside a studio programme.
Thai Yoga Massage in Depth
Have you done the introduction, or do you already massage regularly? In the advanced course we work body part by body part, technique by technique, with room to repeat until it lives in your hands.
- Legs, arms, lower back, neck and side position
- Working with your feet and advanced stretches
- From a single deep-dive day to a full week
For multi-day courses I sometimes invite guest teachers.
Introduction to Table Massage
Want to give real massages to friends, family or your partner, with techniques that go beyond rubbing someone's shoulders? In a one-day course I teach you the basics: pressure, pace, and how to build a full treatment.
- A complete back and neck treatment
- Working with oil, pressure and pace
- A fun and memorable group activity
Techniques you can apply at home right away.
Table Massage in Depth
Going deeper into specific styles and techniques: Table Thai, sports massage, Lomi Lomi and deep tissue. For those who already massage and want to widen their repertoire.
- Legs, arms, lower back, neck, side position, feet
- Sports tape, cupping or massage gun
- Silk sarong for stretches
From a weekend course to a full week of immersion.
Singing Bowls and Sound Healing
Are you fascinated by singing bowls and want to learn how to play them? Individually or in a small group I teach you how the chakra system works and how to use the instruments.
- Get to know the chakra system
- Hands-on with singing bowls and tingsha
- Bring sound into your own practice
As a single lesson or a course across several sessions. Bring your own singing bowls.
Bespoke: Studios, Retreats and Events
Do you run a yoga studio, retreat venue, festival or team and want massage in your programme? Then I build the lesson around your group: the theme, the length and the level. Also for team building, hen and stag parties, and one-to-one mentoring.
- Standalone workshop or multi-day course
- At your venue or in my studio in Ede
- From 2 to 16 participants
Tell me what you have in mind and I will think along.

A foundation for life
You do not have to commit to a long programme: half a day is enough to start. But what you learn is groundwork, not a party trick: technique you can keep building on and deepening for the rest of your life.
Learning by feeling
Hands-on practice helps you understand pressure, flow, and body mechanics far better than videos or theory alone. You build real skill by doing.
Help the people you love
You'll get the tools to help your partner, children, family, or friends feel better. A simple massage can mean the world.
Useful anywhere, anytime
Massage is a portable skill. Your hands are always with you. At home, travelling, or at a friend's place, you can offer support anywhere.
Deepen your bond with your partner
Learning together creates closeness and connection. You'll pick up skills you can keep practising on each other. Perfect for date nights.
Become part of a community
Workshops are often full of warm, open-hearted people. You'll meet others who value wellness, connection, and learning.
I gave this workshop at Bosburcht Festival. My models were the security team, on their break. That is why the shoes stayed on in case anything happened, and why her radio is lying next to her on the mat.

What participants say
I attended an Intro to Thai Massage workshop at The Gardens of Babylon's Monastery festival and was so impressed that I booked a session with Michalis right after — it was amazing! My partner and I later visited his studio, where he taught us great techniques we now use to massage each other. Highly recommended!
I finally decided to visit him with a friend for an afternoon of teachings — and I'm so glad I did. What Michalis teaches can't be found in books or videos. It's not just about techniques or routines, but about truly feeling and listening — to the body, the breath, the energy. He helped me move in a way that felt natural and organic, like a conversation without words.
There's something magical about learning from someone who's so in tune with their craft. Michalis makes bodywork feel playful, alive, and deeply intuitive. You leave feeling like you've remembered something ancient.
In a one-on-one session with Michalis, you're not just taught — you're invited. Into a space of stillness, attention, and embodied presence. He shows you how to listen with your hands and let your intuition lead the way.
There are things you can only learn through being shown — through presence, breath, timing. Michalis passes on wisdom that lives in the body, not the page. And that wisdom has forever changed how I work.
What I gained from Michalis wasn't just technique — it was essence. He's one of the few teachers who helps you feel the flow in your own body, so that massage becomes less of a sequence and more of a sacred dance.
