Michalis with singing bowl

My mission: to give you the best massage of your life. Every. Single. Time.

I take a holistic approach, meaning I tailor every treatment to your specific needs to bring your physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing back into balance.

Each treatment becomes a sacred container for your unique journey. The healing power of touch is amplified as I weave together modalities like bodywork, meditation, ceremonial elements, and subtle energetic awareness.

I don't just use my hands. If it helps, I bring the tools: massage guns, infrared heat, hot stones, cupping, whatever it takes. You come as you are, I take care of the rest.

Hundreds of 5-star reviews

I'm proud to welcome clients not only from Ede, but also from nearby towns like Wageningen, Veenendaal, Arnhem, Utrecht, Amsterdam, and even from abroad.

Over the years I've received hundreds of 5-star reviews on Google, Treatwell, and Facebook, and have been honoured with multiple Treatwell Top Rated awards.

These kind words are a reflection of the care, presence, and dedication I bring to every treatment. I'm genuinely grateful for the trust my clients place in me.

What Clients Say

How I ended up here

From a bike ride to my father's house in Crete to my own patch of forest on the Veluwe. The long answer to how a massage therapist in Ede ended up with singing bowls from Nepal.

  1. The start

Born in Crete, raised in the Netherlands

A colourful cocktail, a chameleon adjusting to ever changing surroundings. I travelled solo from a young age and worked as a bike messenger in my late teens.

  2. Age 21

From my mother's house to my father's

At twenty-one I cycled from my mother's house in the Netherlands to my father's house in Crete. Somewhere along that road it landed: the world is my playground. I went on to study documentary and press photography in Utrecht and at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, but the mountains kept calling.

Turning the passion into a profession

Since 2007 I have worked as an International Alpine Tour Leader. I have guided more than 120 small groups on treks, cycling expeditions and high altitude alpine crossings, across some forty countries. For over a decade I was almost continuously on the move.

    The Himalayas

A cycling expedition took me from Lhasa in Tibet to Kathmandu in Nepal, and that is where I first met the Himalayas. I fell in love with its humble, vibrant people. As the saying goes: I came for the mountains and I returned for its people.

  5. The winters after

    Solo in the mountains

From April to September I guided in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. In October I would take a group to Nepal and then stay all winter for the properly crazy things: cycling the Annapurna Circuit solo, or the Three Passes Trek in winter. My body took a beating, and back in civilisation I loved being taken care of. In Pokhara I was massaged by blind locals.

  6. Kathmandu

A power cut, candles, and a singing bowl

A friend once told me: dude, take a holiday from travelling, sit your ass down. He was right. When I got the chance to stay in Kathmandu for a few months, I built a community around me and regularly invited people over for small gatherings. During one of those evenings, by candlelight because the power was out, singing bowl master Chaitanyashree introduced me to sound healing. He became my teacher.

  7. The years after

The bowl came everywhere with me

Long journeys through Nepal, India, Malaysia and Thailand followed. Heavy and fragile as they are, a singing bowl has travelled with me ever since. In Thailand I picked up Thai massage and knew immediately these were skills I wanted in my backpack, so I could share them.

    The earthquakes in Nepal

When Nepal was hit by a series of massive earthquakes I wanted to help. I was in Europe at the time, so I reached out to dozens of yoga studios in the countries I was travelling through. Together we hosted yin yoga sound healing classes on donation to release funds for Nepal.

  9. The years that followed

Festivals, retreats and a pop-up studio

Countless collaborations came out of that: healing areas at parties and festivals, international yoga retreats I co-organised, and a pop-up yoga, massage and flow arts studio in Amsterdam that I co-owned. What I loved most was building the containers themselves, cocoons safe enough for people to reconnect with themselves and each other.

  10. Yin and yang

    Two extremes, one life

For over five years my life was either the stillness and solitude of the mountains or the abundant chaos of parties and festivals. Both completed me in a different way. Whether high in the Himalayas or on a massage table, my job is the same: make sure you are safe, at ease and taken care of.

    Rooting in the Netherlands

The pandemic forced me to change how I travelled, and with it my profession. I chose to root here and offer a safe space to my own community. From 2020 to 2022 I worked out of an old nightclub in Amsterdam, hosting workshops and ceremonies alongside the massages. That space became a small haven for the neighbourhood.

Nature called, so I moved to Ede

In the summer of 2022 I left Amsterdam for a loft in Ede, to combine nature with bodywork. Endless forest starts at the end of my street. In 2025 I took it a step further and rented my own patch of forest, so in summer I can receive you between the trees, surrounded by fresh air and birdsong.

  13. Now

The world comes to visit me

Instead of taking people to faraway places, the world now comes to me and I take people on a journey into their own inner realms. One week I am in the Alps leading hikes, the next I am doing chair massage at an office, with treatments at the studio or in the forest in between, and healing areas at festivals in the summer weekends.

Workshops and Mentoring

For over ten years I've been exchanging knowledge and experience with countless other bodyworkers and have massaged thousands of people. I regularly organise massage exchange gatherings for local and international bodyworkers.

I'm passionate about passing on my knowledge and skills through workshops and mentoring. I believe the impact of bodywork can be greatly amplified when more people are equipped with the right tools and techniques.
