A prayer in movement

A prayer in movement

Thai Yoga Massage is a dynamic, fully clothed massage on the mat where I work not just with my hands, but also my forearms, elbows, knees, legs and feet. I guide you through yoga-like stretches, twists and body rocking, combined with deep muscle compression, joint mobilisation and acupressure.

The treatment is rooted in traditional Eastern medicine and works along the sen lines to balance the flow of energy through your body. Releasing tension, improving circulation, raising energy.

It's a full-body treatment, with the flexibility to give extra attention to your specific areas of concern.

Frequently asked questions about Thai Yoga Massage

You can choose from sessions of 60, 90, 120 or 180 minutes. A standard session is 90 minutes to 2 hours; the more time we have, the deeper I can work on your specific areas of focus.

A 60-minute treatment is a partial session only, focused on one or two problem areas.

A full-body treatment starts from 90 minutes.

The 2 and 3-hour treatments give plenty of time to relax and work on problem areas — it's a true journey into your own body.

If you want a truly special experience, I recommend choosing a signature session, which is a combination of massage with sound healing.

It takes at least 45 minutes for your nervous system to fully relax, so I recommend booking longer if you really want to surrender to the maximum healing effect.

Traditional Thai massage, also known as 'Nuad Boran', is a therapeutic technique that originated in Thailand over 2,500 years ago, using rhythmic compression, acupressure and stretching. Thai Yoga Massage is a more modern style that integrates more yoga elements: more stretches, movement and yoga-like positions. Both styles share the same goal: relaxation, releasing tension and promoting overall wellbeing.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to your massage, as you'll be moving and stretching throughout the session. Think joggers or leggings and a t-shirt. Bring a clean pair of socks too.

Thai Yoga Massage can sometimes feel intense, but it shouldn't be painful. Let me know if you experience any discomfort so I can adjust the pressure and technique. If you've ever had a traditional Thai massage that felt uncomfortable or too intense, know that I take a very different approach. I communicate clearly and tailor the treatment to your unique body and capacity.

Not at all! You just need to show up as you are, regardless of your shape or fitness level. Thai Yoga Massage is given to athletes and office workers alike, so it doesn't matter how flexible you are. Every treatment is different and adapted to the person receiving it.

Absolutely! I love creating a personalised treatment that fits your needs. Thai Yoga Massage combines particularly well with shiatsu and Wuo Tai. On the table I can even weave Thai massage stretches into an oil massage. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll put together a tailor-made fusion of different bodywork modalities.

There are medical conditions for which Thai Yoga Massage is not safe, including: fever, vascular conditions, severe heart disease, contagious skin conditions, inflammation, cancer, recent surgery, infectious illness, diabetes with vascular dysfunction, fractures and acute injuries. It is your responsibility to inform me of any medical conditions before the massage. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
